Although speculation, the OneStation seems like it is aiming to become that one system everyone has dreamed of throughout their childhood; the one system that can play them all. Currently it's in its early stages, it mostly has games from NES but a few from the MegaDrive and some other games (some of which might be for this system only, I'm not sure).

When you first get your OneStation and pick it up you'll realise how light it is. This is mainly because it doesn't have batteries in it yet but also because it lacks a CPU. The cartridges actually hold the CPU, this allows for more flexability in what games it can play, which is needed for such an intention.

The console itself consists of a screen, five buttons (A,B,T,Reset,Start/Pause), on switch, volume control, A/V out, speaker, and cartridge jack. More technically:

ColorFerrari Red, Sky Blue, Pearl White or Customized
ID Dimension:110(W) x 59(H) x 29(D) mm
ID Weight:75g (without Batteries and Cartridge)
LCD:High resolution 2.5"
Power Supply:4.5V "AAA" x 3 or Special Battery Charger (optional)
Battery Life:Will according to the difference types of cartridges used. (Approximately 2H~15H)
Special Features:can be used as digital format display & some item has play to TV feature

I'd try to explain more but I haven't taken it apart yet. For now check out
